Today we’re announcing the first Aragon Conference — AraCon.
Aragon was conceptualized in late 2016 by Luis and Jorge. They started building the community around the project with the first blog post “Introducing Aragon: Unstoppable companies” on February 10th, 2017.
Since that day, the project and the community around it has been steadily growing and evolving into what it is today. Many have joined to assist and grow this movement of creating decentralized organizations and freedom for all.
AraCon is the culmination of all the people supporting this and we couldn’t be happier to be inviting everyone to join us at this event.
AraCon – The first Aragon Conference - will take place in Berlin, Germany on January 29th-30th 2019.
The conference will bring together people who embody and wish to shape the Aragon community. Those who are building and supporting the pseudonymous, secure, trustless future — the decentralized web. Decentralized governance and DAOs are at the heart of the new Web 3.0. They are key components in moving towards a more fair and open world for everyone.
It will be the place for you to get a great understanding of Web3.0 and Aragon. You will discover the latest developments and glimpses of what's to come from our carefully planned program. Together with concrete lessons on how this technology is being built, the conference will provide you with a great overview of the decentralized web.
The event has four distinctive themes which we'll cover:

AraCon will present over 30 speakers passionate and deeply involved in creating this decentralized future. The list of already confirmed speakers include:
